Collection

The permanent collection of this Museum especially covers indigenous, riverside and Brazilian quilombola culture, which play a crucial role in preserving and disseminating the rich heritage of these communities. These collections provide insights into ancestral knowledge related to water management and practices that use low-predation technologies. Furthermore, they offer a window into the cultures, legends, beliefs and practices that guide sustainable solutions to environmental issues specifically around water management.

The Museum also has temporary exhibitions with different themes also covered in the scope of the project.
